We know when we started out we would have loved drawn comb to give our bees a head start but quickly realised that getting drawn comb from another Beekeeper would be an easy way to transmit disease. So instead we patiently waited, and waited and waited, and eventually the next year we got a honey crop. Drawing wax comb takes time, a good size colony and good weather. In addition it also takes alot of nectar resources to produce beeswax.
FAQS: 1. How do attach drawn comb to frames? Pre wire your frame and hot wire it in with 12v battery. Or 'Easy and quick DIY Method' Use wire to wrap the frame and comb.
2. What's it made from and is it safe for my bees? 100% Beeswax that has gone through a Sterilization process. Yes it's safe for bees.
3. Do the bees use it or prefer to make their own? Bees use this comb like it's their own unlike synthetic versions of this product, it saves them time, resources and energy.
